India in 4th position with 81 million Net users

As per the latest news India with 81 million Internet users has got fourth rank among the top 10 nations in the world.

The list of top 10 countries is as under :

1. USA (220 million users)
2. China (210 million users)
3. Japan (88.1 million user)
4. India (81 million users)
5. Brazil (53 million users)
6. UK (40.2 million users)
7. Germany (39.1 million users)
8. Korea (35.5 million users)
9. Italy (32 million users)
10. France (31.5 million users.)

Though India has been ranked 4th in respect of Internet users, in terms of broadband connections India does not feature in the top 10. There are only 5 million bradband users in India. It means that the number of internet users in India will increase with the growth of bradband subscribers.
