Common Currency of India and Pakistan

Below is the image of One Rupee Note of 1947 which was common currency for India as well as Pakistan. It is natable that, apart from Government of India, Government of Pakistan is also printed in its left side.

Though Pakistan got independence on 14th August, 1947, a day before the independance in India, Pakistan was dependent on India in the matter currency up to 30th September, 1948 as during that period only Reserve Bank of India was responsible for currency management in India as well as Pakistan also.
